TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 Please see below a service agreement between I AM GIGI and you, the Client(s). If you are the main contact of a group booking, it is your responsibility to ensure you have shared this document with all relevant parties.

NON-BRIDAL BOOKING DEPOSITS

A deposit is required to secure your booking, unless agreed otherwise.
There will be a non-refundable deposit due upon confirmation of your booking. The amount will count towards services provided and deducted on the day of the booking, from the balance due.

BRIDAL BOOKING DEPOSITS

Bridal Deposits are 30% of the full and final amount, unless a different amount is stated otherwise. These deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Bridal Deposit is redeemed against the full balance due on the day of the booking.

PAYMENTS:

BACS payments of total balance must be paid by the morning of the day before the actual booking date. Cash payments are accepted on the day of booking, but must be made on arrival.
Prices and details of your booking will be provided in writing via email, whatsapp or text

from Gigi to the client.

CANCELLATIONS:

All deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable.
In the event of Non-Bridal cancellations, the client(s) is/are liable to pay the full amount due for the booking if it is within 14 days of the confirmed booking date.
In the event of Bridal cancellations, the client(s) is/are liable to pay the full amount due for the booking if it is within 30 days of the booking date.

For international bookings, you are required to give a minimum of 3 months’ notice should you wish to reduce numbers or services booked on your wedding day. After such time the full amount for services cancelled will still be payable. All payments are the responsibility of the bride, or named person on the booking, and for this reason we strongly recommend that all members of your bridal party are advised of these terms. In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your whole booking Gigi requires a minimum of 3 months’ notice; thereafter the full amount will still be payable by the specified date. Deposits and trial payments are non-refundable. Should no payment be received Gigi will proceed with legal action to recover losses.

LATENESS

Parties can sometimes run late, therefore during these circumstances the artist, Gigi, will wait for up to 15 minutes for a client without any additional charges presented.
Should the client take longer, Gigi will be under no obligation to wait further and the client(s)

will be liable to pay the full amount due for the booking, as per the above section “Cancellations”.

TRAVEL

Travel expenses will be applied to the booking with Gigi upon confirmation. Where there is great distance to travel, and limited time available, Gigi will require hotel accommodation with all costs covered prior to the booking – this will be mentioned at time of booking. Travel expenses are calculated and invoiced at the time of booking; should there be any later changes to locations then the relevant adjustments will be made to the booking accordingly.

INTERNATIONAL BOOKINGS

International Bookings are subject to International Make Up Costs with additional charges for travel, e.g. Flights/Trains and transfers to and from the airport/train stations. Accommodation for Gigi is to be paid for by the client. All accommodation and flight details must be agreed with Gigi before booking.

PREPARATION

Clients are to prepare for their booking with Gigi, prior to Gigi’s arrival by doing the following:
All Bookings:

  • -  Please inform Gigi of any skin allergies/reactions/skin sensitivity’s prior to the booking. Gigi will be not be held responsible for any of the above.

  • -  Ensure the person(s) booked in are ready to start at the time agreed.

  • -  Please wear the outfit or top part of the outfit prior to starting.

  • -  Have ready any jewellery and/or accessories you will be wearing.

  • -  Please have a chair, table available in the room where make up will be taking place.

    There must be easy access to a plug socket. Where possible, please have an extension

lead available.

Make Up Bookings:


- Wash and dry your face, ensuring there is no make-up residue.
- Have your daily moisturiser or specific products, that you’d like Gigi to use, out and ready. - If you wear contact lenses, please have these on before the booking commences.

LIMITATION ON LIABILITY: Client holds Gigi, of I AM GIGI, harmless for any claim, loss, damage or injury to any person or property arising, either directly or indirectly, from Gigi’s

performance.

Gigi shall not be liable for any delay(s) or non-performance due to circumstances out of her control.

All other promises, conditions, understandings or other agreements, whether oral or written,

relating to the subject matter of this Agreement must be added to this agreement or confirmed via email, whatsapp or text by both parties.

By formally agreeing to this contract, I have read and understood all the terms and conditions outlined above. I, the client, understand that I will be financially responsible for bookings made by self, as per outlined in this agreement. I will abide by this contract. This contract is binding.

PHOTOGRAPHY & IMAGE COPYRIGHT


It is imperative that we continue to update our portfolio and demonstrate our work to future prospective brides. Please let us know in advance if you do not wish to be photographed or if you are not happy for us to use your images for marketing purposes. We refrain from asking for ‘before & after’ photos but are very grateful for volunteers.
We are happy to be photographed on your wedding morning however, any photo image incorporating our team in action, or our hair and/or make-up design, on the Internet or on any other advertisement, must make reference or credit us as the hair and/or makeup artists.
